FAQs — Sikkim Tour Packages

How much does a Sikkim tour package cost?
A Sikkim tour package starts from ₹17,999 per person on twin-sharing for a 5N/6D land-only itinerary from the gateway airport. Mid-range 3-star equivalents are included; luxury and 4-star upgrades typically add 30-45%. Flights from your origin city are extra.
How many days are needed for a Sikkim trip?
Our standard Sikkim package is 5N/6D. You can extend to 7-9 days to include more remote areas, or combine with neighbouring Arunachal Pradesh for an 8-10 day multi-state circuit.
Are permits included in the Sikkim package?
Online permits for Tsomgo Lake & Nathula; separate North Sikkim permit (included) — and we handle all the paperwork as part of the package.
What's the best time to visit Sikkim?
March-May (rhododendrons) & October-December (clear Kanchenjunga views). We don't run packages in periods with serious landslide or road-closure risk.
Can the Sikkim itinerary be customised?
Yes — every component (stays, transfers, sightseeing, meals, duration) can be tailored. Tell us your dates, group size and interests via the trip planner and we'll send a custom quote within 24 hours.
Can I book a Sikkim tour package from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore or Kolkata?
Yes — we plan Sikkim packages from any Indian city. The land package is ₹17,999 per person (5N/6D); you add return flights to Bagdogra (IXB), the gateway airport, then a scenic 4-hour drive to Gangtok. See our city guides for Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata for typical flight times and fares.
What’s included in the Sikkim tour package price?
The ₹17,999 per-person price covers 5 nights’ accommodation (3-star equivalents, twin-sharing), all private transfers and sightseeing by car, and permit assistance (including North Sikkim and Nathula/Tsomgo permits). Flights, unspecified meals, monument entry tickets and personal expenses are extra. Every inclusion is customisable to your budget — get an exact quote via the trip planner.
I'm a foreign traveller — what visa and permits do I need for Sikkim?
You'll need an Indian e-visa plus a free Restricted Area Permit for Sikkim (issued with your visa or on arrival); North Sikkim and Nathula need extra permits we arrange. Fly into Bagdogra (IXB) via Delhi or Kolkata, then drive to Gangtok. Our hotel and flight links auto-show prices in your home currency.
